Ways of improving external search engines usability

Some of the best web masters spend mush of their time on analyzing logs, server logs so that they can determine where are these visitors coming from and which are the pages that they are viewing. So, the most important details that are shown by these search engines show are the visitor details. For most of the people this set of information is considered as extremely useful and fascinating and has developed into a hobby.

The procedure would start with using search logs and seeing some of the most popular search engines and at the same time trying to see what are the most popular searched items by people. This piece of information may be considered as pretty useful but it hardly analyzed as the words searched by most people come from search engines like Google which counts for 70% of the search made using some of the most commonly used keywords or phrases like “download software” or even “free software download”.

So, the three methods that can in fact be used to improve the appearance along with their relevancy are Recreating the search logs, cognitive walk through and testing usability.
